About The Journey10 Days Complete Braj Parikrama Yatra
The Chaurasi Kos Parikrama — the traditional 84 kos (roughly 252 km) circuit of Braj Bhoomi — is one of the most revered pilgrimages in the Vaishnav tradition. Traditionally walked over several weeks, it can now be completed comfortably by private vehicle in ten well-paced days, without losing the essence of the yatra.
This itinerary moves through Braj in a natural loop — Mathura and Vrindavan at the centre, out to Gokul, Mahavan and Baldeo across the Yamuna, then Govardhan and Kamyavan to the west, and finally Barsana, Nandgaon, Kosi and Chhata before returning — covering the region’s major temples, kunds, and several of its twelve sacred forests.

Yatri VoicesWhat Travellers Say
We had wanted to do the full 84 Kos Parikrama for years but never had the time to walk it. Doing it by car over 10 days felt complete and unhurried.
Kamyavan and Mahavan aren’t on most itineraries — glad they were included here. The Govardhan Parikrama day was the spiritual high point for our whole family.
A long, meaningful yatra. Some days involve a fair bit of driving between towns, so pace yourself and rest when you can.
