How It All Began
A Story Rooted in Devotion, Grown Through Trust
The longer version of our story — why we started, what we learned along the way, and how our approach to pilgrimage travel came to be.
Long before Vrindavan My Trips became a registered travel service, its founders were simply local residents of Braj who had spent their whole lives around the ghats of the Yamuna, the lanes of Vrindavan, and the temples that fill this small stretch of land with an unusual intensity of devotion. Visitors would often arrive confused — unsure which gate of Banke Bihari opens when, unsure whether Prem Mandir’s evening lighting show was worth staying for, unsure how to safely reach Barsana or Nandgaon without being overcharged by an unfamiliar driver.
It was this everyday confusion, repeated across hundreds of pilgrim families, that planted the idea for a dedicated local travel service. Our founders began informally, driving relatives-of-relatives and friends-of-friends between temples, sharing stories about the significance of each site along the way. Word spread. What had been a favour done for a handful of families slowly turned into requests from strangers, then from group tour organisers, and eventually into a proper business built specifically to serve pilgrims and travellers with honesty and local knowledge.
As the requests grew, so did our understanding of what pilgrims actually needed. It was not simply a car and a driver — it was someone who understood that an elderly traveller may need frequent rest stops, that a family with young children may want to avoid the most crowded hours at Banke Bihari, that a devotee attempting the Govardhan Parikrama may want the option of walking part of the route while a vehicle follows behind for support. We learned, tour by tour, that good pilgrimage travel is really about anticipating needs before they are even voiced.
Today, Vrindavan My Trips operates with the same values it started with, simply at a larger scale. We have expanded our fleet, trained more driver-guides, added curated packages to destinations beyond Braj such as Agra, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Rajasthan, and built lasting relationships with hotels across every budget range. But the underlying promise has never changed: a safe vehicle, an honest price, a knowledgeable guide, and a darshan schedule that respects both the sanctity of the temples and the comfort of the traveller.

What Drives Us
Our Mission and Our Vision
Our Mission
To make the sacred sites of Mathura, Vrindavan and Braj Bhoomi accessible to every traveller, regardless of their age, mobility, budget, or familiarity with the region, by pairing them with reliable local drivers, transparent pricing, and itineraries that respect both their time and their devotion.
We exist to remove the friction that so often comes between a pilgrim and their darshan — the uncertainty about routes, the risk of unfair fares, the confusion about temple timings — so that every visit to Braj Bhoomi can be spent in genuine reflection rather than logistical worry.
This mission extends beyond the moment of booking. It shapes how we train our drivers, how we negotiate rates with partner hotels, and how we handle the small, unglamorous details of a trip — an early morning pickup, a last-minute change of plan, a request for a slower pace — that, taken together, decide whether a pilgrimage feels rushed or genuinely restorative.
Our Vision
We aim to become the most trusted name in pilgrimage and heritage travel across North India, known not for the size of our fleet but for the depth of care in every itinerary we design. We want every traveller who books with us — whether for a single day or a ten-day yatra — to feel like they travelled with someone who genuinely understood the region and their needs.
Over the coming years, we intend to widen our network of verified guides and partner hotels across Agra, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Rajasthan, so that the same standard of trust our Braj travellers experience can extend to every onward journey, too.
Our Journey
Milestones Along the Way
From a handful of local drivers to a full-service pilgrimage travel company — a brief look at how we got here.
2021
The First Journeys
What began as informal help for visiting relatives and their friends turned into our first paid tours — a handful of taxi trips a week between Mathura, Vrindavan and Govardhan, run out of a single shared vehicle.
2022
Building the Fleet
As demand grew, we added Sedans, an Ertiga and an Innova Crysta to our fleet, and brought on our first dedicated driver-guides who were trained specifically in temple timings, darshan etiquette and safe pilgrimage routes.
2023
Curated Darshan Packages
We formalised our most requested routes into structured packages — Same Day Darshan, 2 Day Mathura Vrindavan, and the full Braj Chaurasi Kos Yatra — along with our first partnerships with budget and deluxe hotels near the main temples.
2024–2025
Expanding Beyond Braj
Pilgrims began asking us to extend their journeys further, so we introduced onward packages to Agra, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Rajasthan, along with a dedicated Tempo Traveller for larger group tours.
2026 and Beyond
Vrindavan My Trips Today
Today we serve over 5,000 travellers a year across 50-plus curated tours, with a growing team of verified drivers and 24×7 booking support — and we are still adding new destinations, new packages, and new partner hotels every season.
Core Values
Our Commitment to Exceptional Travel Experiences
The principles that shape every itinerary we design and every trip we run, whether it is a single afternoon of darshan or a ten-day pilgrimage across Braj Bhoomi.
Integrity and Trust
We prioritise transparency and honesty, ensuring every service we offer is reliable and dependable for our clients. Every fare is quoted upfront, every itinerary is agreed before the trip begins, and every driver is briefed to represent our name with the same honesty we promise our travellers. We believe trust, once broken, is difficult to rebuild — so we choose never to risk it, even on the smallest details like a parking fee or a toll charge.
Personalized Service
Our commitment to understanding your unique needs allows us to tailor trips that resonate with your spiritual and travel aspirations. No two families travel the same way — an elderly couple may need a slower pace with more rest stops, while a group of college friends may want to fit in as many temples as possible in a single day. We listen first, and build the itinerary around you, rather than fitting you into a fixed template.
Cultural Respect
We deeply value the cultural heritage of the regions we serve, ensuring our tours promote respect and appreciation for local traditions. Our driver-guides are trained not just in road safety but in temple etiquette — appropriate dress, respectful conduct near deities, and an understanding of why certain rituals and timings matter so deeply to the communities that have kept them alive for generations.
Why Travellers Choose Us
What Makes Vrindavan My Trips Different
Plenty of taxi operators and tour agents work in Braj Bhoomi. Here is what, in our travellers’ own feedback, tends to set us apart.
A Fleet Built for Every Group Size
From a Sedan for a couple to a Tempo Traveller for a twenty-person group tour, our fleet is sized and maintained specifically for pilgrimage travel — regularly serviced, cleaned between trips, and equipped for both short local darshan runs and long outstation journeys.
Darshan Timed to Temple Schedules
Every itinerary we plan is built around the actual aarti and darshan schedule of Banke Bihari, Prem Mandir, ISKCON and the other major temples, so our travellers are rarely left waiting outside closed gates or fighting through the most crowded hours.
Deep Local Route Knowledge
Our drivers are residents of the Braj region, not outside contractors. They know which lanes to avoid during festival crowds, which parking spots are closest to each temple, and which quieter ghats are worth a detour for a traveller who wants a calmer moment of reflection.
Transparent, All-Inclusive Pricing
Every quote we give includes the vehicle, driver, tolls and parking, so there are no surprise charges waiting at the end of a trip. Where a package includes a hotel stay, that cost is itemised clearly as well.
Round-the-Clock Support
Our booking and support team is reachable 24 hours a day, seven days a week, whether a traveller needs to adjust an itinerary at the last minute, extend a trip by a day, or simply confirm a pickup time the night before.
Comfortable for Every Age Group
Our packages are equally suited to first-time young travellers and elderly pilgrims completing a long-held wish to visit Braj Bhoomi — with pacing, vehicle choice, and rest stops adjusted to whoever is actually travelling with us.
A Closer Look
Everything We Handle for Your Journey
A pilgrimage runs more smoothly when a single trusted partner manages the whole journey. Here is how each part of our service works.
Darshan Tour Packages
Our most popular offering, ranging from a Same Day Mathura Vrindavan Tour to the full multi-day Braj Chaurasi Kos Yatra. Every package is built around a sensible sequence of temples, factoring in aarti timings, travel distance between sites, and reasonable time for reflection at each stop rather than a rushed checklist of locations.
Private Taxi Service
For travellers who prefer to design their own schedule, we offer standalone taxi hire — local sightseeing within Braj, outstation trips to Agra or Delhi, and airport or railway station pickup and drop, all with the same verified drivers used on our packaged tours.
Hotel Booking
We work with a range of budget, deluxe and premium hotels close to the main temples, so travellers on any budget can find a comfortable, well-located place to stay without spending hours searching and comparing options themselves.
VIP and Priority Darshan
For travellers with limited time or mobility, we can arrange priority darshan access at select temples, reducing wait times so that older pilgrims and larger groups can complete their visit comfortably and without long queues in the heat or cold.
Custom and Group Itineraries
Large families, religious societies, and corporate groups regularly come to us with a specific list of destinations and a set number of days. We build a bespoke itinerary around exactly that brief, adjusting vehicle type, hotel category and pacing to match the group’s needs.
The Land We Know Best
The Braj Region We Serve
Braj Bhoomi is not a single town but a wide, sacred landscape woven with stories of Krishna’s childhood and youth. Here is a closer look at the places our tours are built around.
Vrindavan
Home to Banke Bihari, Prem Mandir, ISKCON and the sacred Nidhivan forest, Vrindavan is the emotional heart of most darshan tours, where devotees spend the longest stretches of unhurried time.
Mathura
The birthplace of Lord Krishna, centred around Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and the ghats of Vishram Ghat along the Yamuna, where the evening aarti draws large crowds of devotees each day.
Govardhan
Famous for the Govardhan Parikrama, a 21-kilometre circumambulation of the sacred hill, along with Radha Kund, Shyam Kund and Kusum Sarovar, all of which feature in our longer Braj packages.
Barsana
The birthplace of Radha Rani, best known for its hilltop temple and, during the season, its exuberant Lathmar Holi celebrations that draw pilgrims from across the country.
Nandgaon
The childhood village of Krishna’s foster father Nand Baba, home to the Nand Bhavan temple and a quieter, more contemplative darshan experience compared to the busier Vrindavan temples.
Gokul
Where Krishna spent his earliest childhood years, Gokul’s Raman Reti and its temples offer a calmer, more rural counterpoint to the temple towns, often included as a half-day extension.
Our Responsibility
Travelling Respectfully Through Sacred Ground
Braj Bhoomi is, first and foremost, a living religious landscape — not simply a set of tourist attractions. We take that seriously in how we design and run every tour.
We brief every traveller before their trip on appropriate temple etiquette, from suitable dress to the correct times for photography, so that visitors are welcomed respectfully by the local community rather than seen as a disruption to daily worship. Our drivers are instructed to avoid unnecessary honking near temple precincts, to give priority to devotees on foot at busy crossings, and to point out quieter, less commercialised sites for travellers who want a genuinely reflective experience rather than a crowded photo opportunity.
We also try, wherever possible, to route business toward small, local establishments — family-run dhabas, local prasad shops, and independently owned guesthouses — so that the economic benefit of tourism stays close to the communities who have preserved these traditions for generations.
This approach sometimes means recommending a smaller guesthouse over a larger chain hotel, or a family-run prasad shop over a more heavily advertised outlet nearer the main temple gates. We have found that travellers who follow these recommendations often come away with a richer sense of Braj Bhoomi’s daily life, having interacted with the people who actually live and work in these towns rather than passing through them as spectators alone.
The People Behind the Journey
Our Team’s Approach to Every Tour
We are, at heart, a small team of local drivers, guides and coordinators who care about getting the details right.
Our Drivers
Local & VerifiedEvery driver on our roster is a Braj resident, trained in safe driving practices, temple etiquette, and the darshan schedules of every major site we visit — as much a guide as a driver.
Our Itinerary Planners
Route & Package DesignOur coordinators design each package by walking the routes themselves, timing temple visits and adjusting rest stops so that even our fixed packages feel personally considered rather than generic.
Our Support Team
24×7 Booking AssistanceReachable by call or WhatsApp at any hour, our support team handles everything from first enquiries to last-minute itinerary changes during an ongoing trip.
Simple, End To End
How Booking With Us Works
From your very first message to us, to the moment your driver drops you back at the station, here is what the process actually looks like.
Tell Us Your Plan
Call, WhatsApp or fill our enquiry form with your travel dates, the number of travellers, and any destinations you already have in mind. If you are unsure what to include, our team is happy to suggest an itinerary based on the time you have available.
Receive a Clear Quote
Within the hour, we send back a detailed quote covering the vehicle, driver, tolls and parking, along with hotel costs if your package includes a stay. Every line item is explained so there is nothing left ambiguous before you decide to book.
Confirm and Prepare
Once you confirm, we share your driver’s details, the pickup time and location, and a printable copy of your day-by-day itinerary, so you know exactly what to expect before you even arrive in Braj.
Travel With Support
Throughout your trip, our support line stays open for any adjustments — a later start, an extra stop, or a change of hotel — and your driver-guide accompanies you through each darshan with local context along the way.
Safe Drop-Off
At the end of your journey, we arrange a timely drop to your station, airport, or onward destination, factoring in traffic and travel time so you are never left rushing to catch a train or a flight.
Share Your Experience
We ask every traveller for honest feedback after their trip, which we use to refine our packages further — many of the small improvements in our itineraries today came directly from a suggestion a past traveller shared with us.
Timing Your Visit
Festivals and Seasons Across Braj Bhoomi
Braj Bhoomi changes character through the year, and many of our travellers plan their visit specifically around one of these occasions. Here is a closer look at what to expect in each season.
Holi in Braj
Few festivals capture the imagination quite like Holi in Braj Bhoomi. Barsana’s Lathmar Holi, where women playfully strike men with sticks in a re-enactment of Radha and Krishna’s teasing courtship, draws enormous crowds each year, as does the week-long celebration at Banke Bihari in Vrindavan. We plan our Holi-season tours with extra buffer time built in, since roads and temple courtyards become considerably busier, and we brief travellers in advance on what to wear and what to expect from the colour and water play.
Janmashtami Celebrations
Krishna’s birthday, Janmashtami, transforms Mathura and Vrindavan into a city of continuous celebration, with midnight aartis, elaborate temple decorations, and processions that continue through the night. Advance booking becomes essential during this period, both for hotels and for vehicles, and we recommend travellers plan to stay at least two nights to properly experience the build-up as well as the main celebration itself.
Kartik Purnima and the Parikrama Season
The month of Kartik, typically falling in October or November, is considered especially auspicious for completing the Govardhan Parikrama and the wider Braj Chaurasi Kos Yatra. Devotees travel from across India during this period specifically to walk the sacred circuits, and our longer yatra packages see their highest demand in these weeks. We increase our fleet availability accordingly and recommend booking at least two to three weeks in advance if travelling during Kartik.
The Quieter Winter Months
Between November and February, Braj Bhoomi experiences its most pleasant weather and its calmest temple crowds outside of the festival calendar. Many of our returning travellers, particularly older pilgrims and those seeking a more contemplative visit, specifically choose this window, when darshan queues are shorter and the pace of a tour can be slower and more reflective without the pressure of extreme heat or monsoon rain.
In Their Own Words
What Our Travellers Say About Us
The itinerary was planned around the aarti timings perfectly, so we never once stood outside a closed temple gate. Our driver knew exactly which entrance to use at each site.
Our parents travelled with the Govardhan Parikrama tour, and the driver was patient with their pace throughout, stopping wherever they needed rest. Truly grateful for the care shown.
The Agra combo tour was seamless — Taj Mahal in the morning, back in Vrindavan in time for evening aarti. Everything was arranged without a single hiccup.
Booked an airport transfer at the last minute and the car was waiting exactly on time, clean and comfortable. Very professional service from start to finish.
Booking on WhatsApp was so easy, and the quote came back within the hour with absolutely no hidden costs added later. Made the whole trip stress-free.
As a first-time visitor to Vrindavan, I had no idea what to expect. The driver-guide explained the significance of each temple along the way, which made the whole trip far more meaningful.
Vehicles for Every Group
Our Fleet, In Detail
Choosing the right vehicle matters more than most travellers expect — it affects comfort on longer routes, luggage space for multi-day trips, and how easily a group can move together between temples.
Sedan
Our most economical option, well suited to couples or small families of up to four passengers. Ideal for a same-day darshan tour within Vrindavan and Mathura, where the routes are short and the priority is a quick, comfortable, air-conditioned ride between temples.
Ertiga
A compact seven-seater that works well for slightly larger families travelling together, offering a bit more luggage space than a Sedan while remaining nimble enough for the narrower lanes near some of the older temples in Vrindavan.
SUV
A comfortable middle-ground vehicle for groups who want extra space and a slightly higher ride, particularly useful for longer outstation trips to Agra or Jaipur where a smoother ride over longer distances makes a real difference.
Innova Crysta
Our premium option, offering the most spacious and comfortable interior in the fleet. Frequently chosen for multi-day Braj Yatra packages, where passengers spend several hours a day in the vehicle and comfort becomes especially important.
Tempo Traveller
Built for larger groups of twelve to seventeen passengers, this AC vehicle is our standard choice for religious societies, extended families, and corporate group bookings travelling together across multiple days of darshan.
Beyond Individual Travellers
Group, Society and Corporate Tours
A significant part of our work involves planning for groups larger than a single family — religious societies organising an annual pilgrimage, resident welfare associations booking a shared trip for their members, and companies arranging a spiritual retreat or team outing for their staff.
These bookings come with their own logistics: coordinating multiple vehicles that need to arrive and depart together, managing a shared hotel block, and building an itinerary flexible enough to account for a larger group’s varying pace. We assign a single point of coordination for every group booking, so that the organiser has one contact managing the entire trip rather than juggling several separate vendors.
For corporate groups specifically, we can also arrange a lighter, more flexible schedule that blends sightseeing with free time, recognising that not every traveller in a work group will want the same intensity of darshan as a dedicated pilgrimage traveller.

Regardless of the size of your group or the length of your trip, these commitments stay the same on every booking we accept.

Every vehicle in our fleet is regularly serviced and carries valid insurance and permits, so you can travel with confidence on both local and outstation routes.
Honest Communication
If a delay, closure, or change to your itinerary becomes necessary, we tell you as soon as we know, rather than leaving you to discover it on the road.

Respect for Your Pace
We will never rush a traveller through a darshan to keep to a schedule. If a moment at a temple needs more time, our itineraries are built with the flexibility to allow it.

Built on Relationships
Our Partner Network Across Braj
No single company can offer a complete pilgrimage experience alone. Over the years, we have built a network of local partners who help us deliver on our promise at every stage of the journey.
Hotel Partners
We work with a curated set of budget, deluxe and premium hotels close to Banke Bihari, Prem Mandir and the main ghats, chosen specifically for cleanliness, reliable service, and proximity to darshan routes rather than for the lowest possible commission.
Local Guides and Priests
For travellers who want a deeper spiritual explanation of the rituals and history behind each temple, we can connect you with local guides and, where appropriate, temple priests who can walk you through the significance of a particular darshan or ritual.
Emergency and Medical Contacts
Every driver on our fleet carries contact details for the nearest reliable medical facilities along common routes, and our support team maintains a list of trusted local contacts for any unexpected situation that may arise during a trip.
Local Food and Prasad Vendors
Where travellers are interested, our drivers can point them toward trusted local dhabas and prasad shops that our team has personally used and recommended over the years, rather than the more heavily marketed options aimed at first-time visitors.
A Final Word
Looking Ahead, Together
We started Vrindavan My Trips because we saw pilgrims arriving in a region we knew intimately, yet leaving without the depth of experience the place truly offers — rushed between temples, unsure of timings, and often overcharged by unfamiliar drivers. Five years on, that original motivation has not changed, even as the scale of what we do has grown considerably.
In the years ahead, we plan to keep widening our network of verified drivers and partner hotels, extend our onward packages further into Rajasthan and the Himalayan hill stations, and continue refining our itineraries based on the honest feedback our travellers share with us after every trip. Whatever direction Vrindavan My Trips grows in, our promise stays the same: a safe vehicle, an honest price, a knowledgeable guide, and a darshan that runs at the pace of your own devotion, not ours.
